Reports that Bears expected to name Mitchell Trubisky as starting QB

The Chicago Bears are expected to name Mitchell Trubisky as their starting quarterback over Nick Foles, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Obviously it has been a competitive battle and a difficult decision for Matt Nagy but what has set Trubisky apart from Foles? A source told ESPN that Trubisky's progression, leadership and overall performance throughout training camp are factors for the decision.

Sports Illustrated host Kaitlin O'Toole is joined by Gene Chamberlain from BearDigest for insight.
